Our Chicken trial pack contains approximately four weeks of dog food to trial. Your dogs can sample the flavour of our signature FSG Dog Food and the many benefits of feeding high-quality chicken recipe. The L size pack is specially formulated for large dogs weighing from approx. 26 + kg* (e.g. Golden Retriever, Hovawart, Bernese Mountain Dog).
- 2 x 5 kg dry food Adult Chicken (chicken)
- 12 x 375 g wet food Menu Adult Chicken (chicken)
- 12 x 375 g wet food Menu Adult Fish+Chicken (fish+chicken)
- three bags of Click-Bits Chicken + Lamb (chicken + lamb)
- one reusable silicone lid for our 375 g
- a measuring cup
*The large trial package is sufficient for a dog weighing up to 50 kg for approximately 4 weeks. However, the duration of the food trial may be shorter when a larger dog or giant breed is being trialled due to their portion size.
Food change
Dry Dog Food
We recommend an immediate change of dry dog food without a transitional phase. Due to the differences in digestibility, mixing PLATINUM Dry Food with another dry food is not advisable.
Please note the following points when feeding:
- Serve dry or slightly moistened with water.
- Do not let the food soak for a long time, serve immediately.
- Always provide your dog with fresh water.
- Initially please feed using the lower recommended amount, only serve more if required.
Wet Dog Food
The changeover from conventional wet food to Menu can be made immediately, without any transitional phase. If your dog has a very sensitive stomach, you can give it the Menu over a period of 1-2 days, introducing it slowly until the animal has fully changed over to it.

Since 2016, we are the first-time dog owners of an Elo female dog from the Spreewald. We started with barf feeding, which was recommended by the breeder, but after a few months Ella's eating behaviour became very bad and we were quite concerned. Our vet recommended PLATINUM as he gave it to his own dogs. We tried it and with PLATINUM wet and dry dog food, Ella has become a beautiful adult lady dog who brings us a lot of joy. I have been using PLATINUM for several years. I wanted to change over to completely grain-free dry food, but I reverted regretfully. No other food made his skin and coat as beautiful as PLATINUM Chicken. Our Benny shines, does not smell, doesn't have dandruff and his output is also okay.

We tried a few kinds of food for Shadow, but they all gave him diarrhoea - until we tried yours. Since then, he hasn’t had any more digestion problems. He gets dry dog food in the morning and wet food in the evening. In addition, the body metabolises most of the food so only a little is excreted. It is also very digestible as it does not swell like other foods. It also smells very pleasant, so much so that my three-year-old nephew wanted to try it. We are very satisfied with it and highly recommend it, so we are very happy that we can order it again and again without any problems.

If you want to offer your dog a little variety, you can easily switch
between all types of PLATINUM food. It does not matter whether you give
wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening or vice versa. A
combination of wet and dry food in one meal is also possible, as both
forms of feeding have the same digestibility with PLATINUM.
Every dog is descended from the wolf, and the digestive tract is designed for the consumption of meat. Our dry food and wet food are designed to be easily consumed by all dogs - from Chihuahuas to Great Danes - and meet the needs of all breeds equally. Different sizes of dry food and wet food make it easier to portion out the food. The recipe and composition remain identical in all sizes to ensure consistent quality and optimum nutrition.
We recommend an immediate change in dog food without a transition phase. Due to the different digestibility, it is not recomendable to mix PLATINUM dry food with any other dry food.
The switch from conventional wet food to PLATINUM Menu should be done immediately without a transition phase. If your dog has a very sensitive stomach, you can slowly add PLATINUM Menu over a period of 1-2 days until the changeover is completed.
