Our dry food has been prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung). FSG is a method of preparing fresh meat. It comes from the kitchen rather than the feed industry. It was modelled on techniques that top chefs often use to prepare meat, in a tastier and also healthier way.
With FSG (Fleischsaftgarung), fresh meat is cooked in a vacuum at low temperature, using only its own meat juices. After a long cooking time, during which the moisture of the meat juice is slowly reduced, this dry food is created.
The dry food prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung) is primarily cooked meat which means following for your dog:
extra tasty,
as nutritious as BARF,
excellent for building muscle,
quickly digestible,
effectively absorbed and
chewable-soft due to the meat juice.
Our dry food also reduces the risk of gastric torsion because it does not swell in the stomach.

Food change We recommend an immediate change of dog food without a transitional phase. Due to the differences in digestibility, mixing PLATINUM Dry Food with another dry food is not advisable.
Please note the following points when feeding:
Serve dry or slightly moistened with water.
Do not let the food soak for a long time, serve immediately.
Always provide your dog with fresh water.
Initially please feed using the lower recommended amount, only serve more if required.
Before, Abby would always start refusing dry food after a couple of weeks. Her faeces were always very soft, almost diarrhoea-like. Since she started eating PLATINUM, this has all changed. I was sceptical at first whether such a small portion would fill her up, but it seems to be very filling. The best thing is that she looks forward to her food and always enjoys eating it.

Wally came to us when he was nine weeks old. For the first four weeks, he was fed the food he received from the breeder. However, we were not satisfied, and our little darling didn't like it at all and in the end, he did not want to touch it. We spent several days researching high-quality dry food brands, and finally we settled on Puppy Chicken from PLATINUM. As soon as we opened the bag, we were impressed by the consistency and smell of the food. Wally felt the same way, because he was bouncing up and down and could hardly wait to try it. When we got Lexi from the breeder, we used to feed her a different brand. After a while, we noticed that she wasn’t digesting the food well. Our vet recommended PLATINUM and we immediately switched.

We would also like to share our experience with PLATINUM food. After a long search for an easily digestible food for our very sensitive male Labrador, we came across PLATINUM after recommendations from friends and acquaintances, and as recommended, we made the change immediately without mixing PLATINUM with the old food. Against all expectations our little fur-nose tolerated the change really well. No more vomiting after eating and no more diarrhoea. And that’s on top of how well he accepted it. If you want to offer your dog a little variety, you can easily switch
between all types of PLATINUM food. It does not matter whether you give
wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening or vice versa. A
combination of wet and dry food in one meal is also possible, as both
forms of feeding have the same digestibility with PLATINUM.
Every dog is descended from the wolf, and the digestive tract is designed for the consumption of meat. Our dry food and wet food are designed to be easily consumed by all dogs - from Chihuahuas to Great Danes - and meet the needs of all breeds equally. Different sizes of dry food and wet food make it easier to portion out the food. The recipe and composition remain identical in all sizes to ensure consistent quality and optimum nutrition.
Healthy senior dogs can continue to be fed with PLATINUM, as our food is very easy to digest and the ingredients it contains are of very high quality. Please note, however, that a dog's metabolism decreases with age and the amount of food should be reduced if necessary.
However, if your senior dog has special dietary requirements and a reduction in the amount of food is not enough to maintain its weight, we recommend that you switch to special senior food. Our subsidiary PLATINUM VETACTIVE offers senior dogs nutrition that is tailored precisely to their needs.

No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
Whether you give your dog Adult Chicken (Mini), Adult Beef (Mini), Adult Lamb (Mini) or Adult Iberico (Mini) depends on your dog's preferences and which flavours they like best. Of course, you can also switch between the three flavours as you wish. Your dog will be optimally supplied with all the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals they need with each of our food varieties. We offer smaller kibbles for dogs up to 10 kg with our “Mini” variants.

We recommend storing our dry food in the included bag. The food is packed airtight in the bag immediately after production and is not stored temporarily. To keep the contents as fresh and flavourful as possible, our bags have an integrated freshness seal.
In principle, a change is possible at any time. Different varieties can also be fed on the same day. However, we recommend feeding the opened bag first. In addition a selection in the bowl should be avoided, especially during the change phase to Platinum or if there are known intolerances.
The dry food can be kept unopened or opened after production for 18 months until the best-before date. The wet food can be kept unopened for 36 months and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after opening.
