Instructions for use:
- Spray: Spray onto the outside of the teeth or directly onto the affected areas. The number of sprays per application depends on the weight of the animal (see dosage table).
- Gel: Apply a strip of gel to the finger (see dosage table) and spread on the outer area of the top teeth. Repeat the process on the other side of the teeth.
Important:
- Do not give food or water before and at least 10 minutes after treatment.
- A longer exposure time of up to 30 minutes intensifies the effect.
- After the initial treatment (3-8 weeks)*, one application every 2-3 days is sufficient to prevent tartar. This depends on the intensity of the tartar.
- Consistent application is important for success. If there are interruptions, the tartar can solidify again.
Tip: After approx. 2 weeks, affected areas can be rubbed with a gauze bandage every 3-4 days to intensify the effect.
*The duration of treatment can extend due to several circumstances like amount of tartar, age, breed and individual predisposition of the dog.

FAQ
The proportion of alcohol, measured in terms of the dose per application, is so low that it presents no danger to healthy dogs or cats. Alcohol cannot be completely dispensed with, as it serves as a link between the active substances and contributes to shelf life. If your pet suffers from health problems, consult your vet before use. You are also welcome to contact our veterinary department in advance for a consultation.
What is the difference between OralClean+Care Classic and OralClean+Care Wild Salmon?
OralClean+Care Wild Salmon also contains some salmon oil, which can increase acceptance.
The duration of treatment depends on the following criteria, among others: breed, weight, consistency of the tartar, predisposition, hereditary predisposition, diet. It is difficult to give a generalised time estimate due to the numerous factors involved. If used correctly and consistently (important: twice a day, otherwise the tartar will harden again), experience has shown that the removal of tartar takes 3 to 8 weeks, and in some cases even longer. If you do not notice any change in the tartar after 3 weeks, please contact us by telephone on our free hotline, 0800 3643663 (0800 DOGFOOD).
Yes: as the product contains herbal oils such as mint, we have been advised by veterinary practitioners to use the product only after consultation with a homeopathic application. It can be the case that the effect of the homeopathic remedy is cancelled out. Please therefore consult your therapist.
No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
No, it only contains citrus seed extracts and herbal oils. The difference lies in the effect: the ingredients have a caring, anti-inflammatory effect and dissolve the tartar in layers during the treatment. Acid would not only attack the tartar, but also the teeth and tooth enamel. You can find more tips on dental care here.
The only difference between our OralClean+Care gel or spray is the application. While the gel is applied directly to the teeth with a finger, the spray is administered directly into the mouth with a targeted spray. When applying the gel, it is necessary to touch the animal's mouth, whereas the spray makes a noise when it is sprayed. You should choose the best application option depending on the character of your dog or cat.
The difference lies in the concentration. If your pet has acute tartar, we recommend OralClean+Care Forte. If you would like to use OralClean+Care for dental care or your pet has light tartar, we recommend OralClean+Care Classic.
