Our Adult Iberico dry food has been prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung). FSG is a method of preparing fresh meat. It comes from the kitchen rather than the feed industry. It was modelled on techniques that top chefs often use to prepare meat, in a tastier and also healthier way.
With FSG (Fleischsaftgarung), fresh meat is cooked in a vacuum at low temperature, using only its own meat juices. After a long cooking time, during which the moisture of the meat juice is slowly reduced, this dry food is created.
The dry food Adult Iberico prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung) is primarily cooked meat which means following for your dog:
- extra tasty,
- as nutritious as BARF,
- excellent for building muscle,
- quickly digestible,
- effectively absorbed and
- chewable-soft due to the meat juice.
Our dry food also reduces the risk of gastric torsion because it does not swell in the stomach.

Food change
We recommend an immediate change of dog food without a transitional phase. Due to the differences in digestibility, mixing PLATINUM Dry Food with another dry food is not advisable.

Since 2016, we are the first-time dog owners of an Elo female dog from the Spreewald. We started with barf feeding, which was recommended by the breeder, but after a few months Ella's eating behaviour became very bad and we were quite concerned. Our vet recommended PLATINUM as he gave it to his own dogs. We tried it and with PLATINUM wet and dry dog food, Ella has become a beautiful adult lady dog who brings us a lot of joy. We can take her with us anywhere and she has become a real member of the family.

We would also like to share our experience with PLATINUM food. After a long search for an easily digestible food for our very sensitive male Labrador, we came across PLATINUM after recommendations from friends and acquaintances, and as recommended, we made the change immediately without mixing PLATINUM with the old food. Against all expectations our little fur-nose tolerated the change really well. No more vomiting after eating and no more diarrhoea. And that’s on top of how well he accepted it. We mainly feed him PLATINUM dry dog food (Iberico+Greens), but in the evening, he also gets the wet food in the practical TetraPak. He particularly enjoys the PLATINUM Snacks, which we use for training. They work for walking at heel almost by themselves. All-round high praise for the good quality and your great service! We have used PLATINUM dry dog food since 2007. All our dogs have enjoyed it without having to add anything. We now have our fourth dog eating this food. He comes from Greece and when we first got him, he had very bad fur and brittle claws. After about four weeks, people were telling us that he had a very beautiful and shiny coat. The dry dog food smells great, and I like its soft consistency compared to other dry foods. In between meals, he gets wet food as a reward when in training. We are very happy with this dog food.

We tried a few kinds of food for Shadow, but they all gave him diarrhoea - until we tried yours. Since then, he hasn’t had any more digestion problems. He gets dry dog food in the morning and wet food in the evening. In addition, the body metabolises most of the food so only a little is excreted. It is also very digestible as it does not swell like other foods. It also smells very pleasant, so much so that my three-year-old nephew wanted to try it. FAQ
If you want to offer your dog a little variety, you can easily switch
between all types of PLATINUM food. It does not matter whether you give
wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening or vice versa. A
combination of wet and dry food in one meal is also possible, as both
forms of feeding have the same digestibility with PLATINUM.
Every dog is descended from the wolf, and the digestive tract is designed for the consumption of meat. Our dry food and wet food are designed to be easily consumed by all dogs - from Chihuahuas to Great Danes - and meet the needs of all breeds equally. Different sizes of dry food and wet food make it easier to portion out the food. The recipe and composition remain identical in all sizes to ensure consistent quality and optimum nutrition.
Compared to conventional dry food, which is mainly made from meat meal, dog food prepared with FSG requires at least 70% fresh meat (muscle meat) to make PLATINUM dry food. There is a big difference between meat meal and fresh meat. Compared to fresh meat, meat meal is significantly inferior, as it is only produced after repeated heating under high pressure. As a result, meat meal has fewer nutrients, a higher ash content and lower protein digestibility than fresh meat. We know from cooking that meat juices and meat fat are what make a roast dinner a treat - which is why we don't prepare our Sunday roast with meat meal. Thanks to the process of cooking with FSG, PLATINUM dry food is completely free from attractants, flavourings, colourings, odours, and flavour enhancers.
Healthy senior dogs can continue to be fed with PLATINUM, as our food is very easy to digest and the ingredients it contains are of very high quality. Please note, however, that a dog's metabolism decreases with age and the amount of food should be reduced if necessary.
However, if your senior dog has special dietary requirements and a reduction in the amount of food is not enough to maintain its weight, we recommend that you switch to special senior food. Our subsidiary PLATINUM VETACTIVE offers senior dogs nutrition that is tailored precisely to their needs.
If your dog is diagnosed with a disease in old age, we recommend an individual consultation with our veterinary department.
We recommend an immediate change in dog food without a transition phase. Due to the different digestibility, it is not recomendable to mix PLATINUM dry food with any other dry food.
No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
Whether you give your dog Adult Chicken (Mini), Adult Beef (Mini), Adult Lamb (Mini) or Adult Iberico (Mini) depends on your dog's preferences and which flavours they like best. Of course, you can also switch between the three flavours as you wish. Your dog will be optimally supplied with all the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals they need with each of our food varieties. We offer smaller kibbles for dogs up to 10 kg with our “Mini” variants.

We recommend storing our dry food in the included bag. The food is packed airtight in the bag immediately after production and is not stored temporarily. To keep the contents as fresh and flavourful as possible, our bags have an integrated freshness seal.
In principle, a change is possible at any time. Different varieties can also be fed on the same day. However, we recommend feeding the opened bag first. In addition a selection in the bowl should be avoided, especially during the change phase to Platinum or if there are known intolerances.
The dry food can be kept unopened or opened after production for 18 months until the best-before date. The wet food can be kept unopened for 36 months and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after opening.
